Keri
MA, BA, QTS, PGCE

Hello I’m Keri, an Art Psychotherapist who studied an MA on the Northern Arts Programme at Leeds Beckett University and Sheffield NHS. I am also an Artist and former Secondary School Art Teacher.

 Throughout my career I have worked with parents, children,  young people and outside agencies as a mentor, Teacher, specialist one to one teacher and delivering Art as therapy.

I am passionate in creating a bespoke programme that focuses on the needs of the client, whether they are adult, child or young person enabling them to reach their full potential.

I welcome working with people from a variety of backgrounds , abilities, cultures and fully endorse the words of Dr. Seus;

“Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”

I am an enthusiastic and creative educator, facilitator and Artist. I use a humanistic approach alongside neuro-science and am passionate at remaining up to date in the field of therapy through attending courses and reading up to date literature.

I am a member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT), a full member of the Health and Care Professions Council HCPS registration and I hold an enhanced Disclosure Barring Certificate (DBS).

I am happy to work on a one to one, with child and parent (dyadic) and also in groups. When I have spare time, I am a working artist and you can see my work on the following link.
